OPERATOR THEORY, SYSTEM THEORY AND SCATTERING THEORY: MULTIDIMENSIONAL GENERALIZATIONS AND RELATED TOPICS, 2005
The miniworkshop is supported by the Center for Advanced Studies in Mathematics of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Recently there has been a considerable activity extending system theory, scattering theory, operator model theory and classical interpolation problems to the settings of multidimensional systems, several operators and function theory in several complex variables or on Riemann surfaces. Other aspects include non commutative settings and quaternionic analysis.
Various approaches have emerged, and the aim of the conference is to stimulate the exchange of ideas between the researchers in the field.
This workshop will the third on the topic held in the department of mathematics of BGU and will focus on these various extensions. In addition, we will also discuss various recent advances of the one dimensional theory.
For the first workshop, see here while the information related to the second workshop can be found here .
