Title: Restriction operators, balayage and analytic continuation
The spectral analysis of the modulus of the restriction operator between the Bergman spaces of two planar domains is relevant for geometry and function theory. Qualitative properties of the eigenfunctions will be derived from a novel balayage technique. Global analytic continuation, free boundaries and the geometry of representing kernels are a few other subjects which will be developed in the talk. Applications to approximation theory and the theory of contractive divisors will be given.
