Title: Functional models of bounded operators
The construction of a functional model for any bounded operator T (contractive or not) on a Hilbert space H is carried out. It is shown that the existence condition for the wave operator W within the Lax-Philips scattering sheme leads in this case to spaces L(b) with a weight b. These facts lead to Hardi spaces in an annulus with a weight W(t) which is determined by the characteristic function S(t) of the operator T.
