DESCRIPTION: |
The School will focus on Polish Groups. General theory, examples, representations of discrete groups
with Polish targets, and applications to discrete groups, geometry and dynamics. The three main courses will be:

FINANCIAL SUPPORT: | Local expenses (lodging and board at Sde-Boker) will be covered by the conference for all participants. Graduate students will be housed in double rooms - please indicate in the registration form if you have any preferences for room sharing. Depending on our budget, we might be able to help with the the travel expenses of graduate students or post-docs. Please indicate in the registration form if you require such assistance. | |
ARRIVAL AND SCHEDULE: | Before purchasing flight tickets please consult the travel section. In short: the first lectures will be held Sunday 16:00. The main courses will commence Monday morning. The last lectures will finish by Friday at noon. We will have a few shuttles going from "Be'er Sheva-North/University" train station to Sde-Boker on Sunday and returning shuttles on Friday. | |
