Title:Free Probability and Polynomial Families.

Abstract: Free probability is a Probability-like theory of non-commuting operators. I will explain its origins in a question about free group algebras. After a brief general overview, I will show how some very simple families of polynomials lead to free-probabilistic phenomena. In particular, I will (almost) prove the Markov property for the free versions of the Levy processes.
