\item{} Introduction to numerical solutions for ODE's:initial value problems, Euler's method, introduction to multistep methods. Boundary value problems.
\item{} Numerical solution of linear equations: Gauss elimination with pivoting, LU decomposition. Iterative techniques: Jacobi, Gauss-Seidel, conjugate gradient. Least squares approximation.
