Research interests:
  Hopf algebras and quantum groups and their applications to physics.
  Non-commutative ring theory.

Research grants:
  1980-1983 U.S.-Israel Binational Fund (with S. Montgomery). Quality of the completed work was rated excellent by the U.S. National Science Foundation.
  1986-1989 3 years Grant from The Basic Science Foundation, The Israel National Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
